Columbia Disc Golf Club to host 27th annual Ice Bowl Charity Tournament

Saturday, January 26, 2013 | 11:15 p.m. CST

The Columbia Disc Golf Club will host its annual Ice Bowl Charity Tournament Sunday morning at Oakland Park.

All proceeds raised will benefit former First Ward councilwoman Almeta Clayton’s “Everybody Eats” charity as well as the local food pantry.

Despite the tournament's title, frigid temperatures won’t be a factor tomorrow, with the high expected to be in the upper-50s. Precipitation is expected.

True to the tournament’s “no wimps, no whiners” motto, the Ice Bowl will continue rain or shine.

The tournament begins at 10 am.
