Pearl Marie Snavely, March 13, 1914 - Jan. 30, 2013

Pearl Marie Snavely, 98, formally of Kansas City North, MO passed to her Lord on January 30, 2013 in Willow Springs, MO.

Pearl was born on March 13, 1914 in Santa Rosa, MO to William Ralph and Lottie Bell Collier. She retired from the North Kansas City School District after 24 years at the Linden East Elementary School and a total of 34 years in education starting her career in one room school houses.
Although having completed her graduate degrees, her desire was to remain in the classroom. After retirement she did volunteer tutoring with Linden West Elementary School and pursued her loves of quilting, crocheting and reading. She was a member of Northgate Baptist Church.
Mrs. Snavely was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 45 years, Jerry; 2 brothers, Hobart and George Collier.
Survivors include her 2 daughters, Judy Ohnesorge (Forrest) and Linda Bade (Barry); 5 grandchildren, David Ohnesorge (Erin), Laurie Clarkston (Kendell), Amy Lewis (Christopher), Jeremy Bade (Megan, and Erin Jones (Ryan); 13.5 great grandchildren. 
Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday February 6, 2013 at White Chapel Funeral Home with burial to follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Linden Baptist Church.
