Man found dead in Moberly structure fire

MOBERLY — A man was found dead inside a home Friday night after Moberly fire and police departments responded to a structure fire.

The police and fire departments responded to the fire at about 10:40 p.m. Friday at 706 W. Rollins St. A 64-year-old man was found dead inside, according to a news release from the Moberly Police Department. The fire and the death are under investigation by the Missouri Fire Marshall and the Randolph County Coroner.

The name of the man has not been released.
