Sophomores Spradlin, Darragh impress as Missouri swimmers conclude Tiger Invite

Sophomores Danielle Spradlin and Mack Darragh each won their 400-meter individual medley events Saturday as Missouri's men and women's swimmers concluded the Tiger Invite at the Mizzou Aquatic Center.

Darragh clocked in at 3:54.98, while Spradlin won her event with a time of 4:23.67.

Darragh racked up another first place finish later on Saturday, when he won the 200-meter butterfly with a time of 1:47.61.

On the women's side of competition, Missouri's Ashley Paterson, Lauren Stoeckle, Danielle Barbiea and Amanda Masters all won events Saturday.

Eegan Groome, Ryan Sellers and Max Grodecki also won events for Missouri's men.

The Missouri men and women's swimming teams will compete again Feb. 19 to 23, when they travel to College Station, Texas, for the Southeastern Conference Championships.
