Missouri's Lianna Doty named SEC women's basketball Freshman of the Week

COLUMBIA — Missouri women's basketball freshman point guard Lianna Doty was named the Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week on Monday.
The honor came after Missouri defeated Florida 69-64 on Thursday and upset No. 9 Tennessee 80-63 on Sunday.
Doty had a double-double in the win over Florida with 11 points and 10 rebounds, as well as seven assists.
She added seven assists in the game against Tennessee and leads SEC freshmen with 116 assists.
Missouri will play again next Sunday when it hosts Mississippi State at Mizzou Arena.
