Inspiration Exercise

1. What are the 3 main colors in your wardrobe?

2. Who is your style icon?

3. Who or what makes you smile?

Yes, whoever came to your mind first must be pretty awesome to you, so pull some inspiration from them.

4. Optional: If you're still lost, then go to your local thrift store and do a little shopping.

Take a small amount of money. No more than $20 and see what type of outfit you can come up with. (Side note: Post pictures on our Facebook page for others to see. I'd love to help or see some ideas, beauties.)

Advice: Beauties, you do not have to dress like any one person or stay in one style! Learn what looks great on you and then run with it! Incorporate a variety of colors, textures, and patterns to your wardrobe for a more eclectic style. It never hurts to go SHOPPING. If you are on a budget, thrift stores are pretty awesome. I'm a big fan of Target and online shopping as well. Get out there and explore different stores, shops, boutiques, etc. so that you can find your wardrobe inspiration! Don't let life pass you by, create your own FASHION STORY!

1. Care about the way that you look, for YOURself not for anyone else.

2. Wear clothing that fits YOUR body.

3. Dress according to the way that YOU live.

4. Step outside of YOUR comfort zone every now and then!

I want all of you to know that you can do anything that you put your mind to and you are willing to work hard for. Nothing happens overnight, but consistency can get you great places. Fall in love with life and continue to write your own Fashion Story!

On Jasmine's Fashion Stories blog, she often includes pictures of different outfits and accessory ideas in her posts. Here is a sampling of her creations:
