Eva May de Chazal, May 6, 1918-Jan. 18, 2013, of Columbia

Eva May de Chazal, of Columbia, MO, passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side on Friday, January 18, 2013. She was 94 years old. Eva was born in Alligator, Mississippi on May 6, 1918, to Lily Mae Riley Colson and Charles Colson. Eva is survived by her husband of 61 years, L. E. Marc de Chazal, daughter and son-in-law, Claire de Chazal and Francisco Santamarina of San Francisco, CA, daughter, Suzanne de Chazal of Columbia, MO, and sister, Mildred Wearn of Atlanta, GA. Eva was preceded in death by her sister, Mayme Schoonover of Atlanta, GA.

Eva believed that all people have inherent good within them, that your life is improved when you help others in need, and that education and travel are never a bad idea. The family plans to hold a memorial in May 2013. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Food Bank of Central Missouri.
