FROM READERS: Bald eagles at Twin Lakes Park

Ricardo Restrepo took a photo of a bald eagle Sunday.

Ricardo Restrepo works as a research specialist in the Department of Medical Pharmacology and Physiology at MU.

During the weekends, I try to do something different and go to the big laboratory of life to various places to walk and be in touch with nature.  I just happen to go to MKT  which is the closest place to go and my dog Ringo loves it.

I like to document or keep a record of things I see or find, and a couple of digital cameras help me do that. I exchange pictures of wildlife in Missouri with friends and acquaintances in my native country of Panamá. So wherever I go, I take pictures that are interesting and fascinating for my friends and relatives.

It was very rewarding to see the bald eagles flying so close and to have the opportunity to take pictures too.
