Q: What artistic project or product are you excited about?

A: Naomi Sugino Lear's "Longviews" show at Orr Street Studios and the Art of Food event sponsored by North Village Arts District Farmers and Artisans Market.

Q: Why are you excited, and why might other people be interested?

A: Naomi's show is a really interesting glimpse into interior spaces. We spend most of our days inside and Naomi used this as her subject. She has created a really interesting artistic account of the spaces that we occupy so much of our time in. Naomi captures familiar scenes in a very captivating way.

The Art of Food event is a fundraising event for the North Village Arts District Farmers and Artisans Market combining food and art. Various galleries will host the artisan foods/beverages of various Columbia food establishments. The progressive party will end with a concert at The Bridge, where Rock Bridge Brewing Company will be offering beer samples.

Q: Is there an event attached to the project?

A: Naomi's show will be exhibited from now until March 17.

The Art of Food event is from 6 to 8 p.m. on March 20. The cost is $30 a person or $50 per pair. Tickets may be purchased at PS: Gallery, Orr Street Studios, Root Cellar, or nvadfamartoffood.eventzilla.net. (Facebook event is here.)
