Stephens basketball team topples Harris-Stowe

The Stephens College basketball team won its second straight game Thursday night, defeating Harris-Stowe State University, 82-76.

Senior Jessica McConnell led the Stars with 20 points, six rebounds and five assists. Sophomore Logan Blagg also had 18 points, helping Stephens College improve its record to 7-19 overall. Freshman Natalie Williams contributed also, scoring 15 points and grabbing five rebounds.

The Stars play next at 2 p.m. on Saturday, when they will host No. 23 William Woods University.
