Friday, February 15, 2013 | 6:27 p.m. CST

A car crashed into the Going Bonkers family fun center on Friday at about 10:30 a.m., according to a press release from the Columbia Fire Department.

Fire Department Battalion Chief James Weaver said neither the driver nor passenger were injured, though the vehicle entered the building as far as its windshield. Both the driver and passenger were wearing their seat belts.

The restaurant was open at the time of the accident, but no customers were injured. The city's Protective Inspection office deemed the building suitable to remain open.
