Stephens basketball team falls to William Woods at home

COLUMBIA — The Stephens College basketball team lost to William Woods (22-4) 71-57 on Saturday. 

The game was close until William Woods went on an 11-0 run in the second half. Freshman Natalie Williams led Stephens College in scoring with 16 points. Senior Jess McConnell added nine points.

Stephens (7-20, 4-12) plays Thursday at Park University before its regular season final Feb. 23 at Lyon College.
