Missouri softball team improves to 5-0

The Missouri softball team finished off  the UC Santa Barbara Gaucho Classic with a 12-1 win against UCSB on Sunday. The Tigers won all five games of the Gaucho Classic this weekend.

Senior Lindsey Muller led the Tigers offense on Sunday by going 4-for-4 with a two-run home run.

Senior pitcher Chelsea Thomas earned her second win of the season by allowing just three hits in seven innings of work. She struck out 10 batters.

Missouri continues its West Coast trip with the Mary Nutter Classic in Palm Springs, Calif., on Thursday and Friday. The Tigers will face Maryland and San Diego State on Thursday and Southeastern Conference foe Florida on Friday.
