Shots fired on Quail Drive on Sunday

COLUMBIA — Two men were arrested Sunday following shots fired in the area of 2600 Quail Drive, according to a news release from the Columbia Police Department. 

Police found the shots came from a white Lincoln Navigator at about 4:21 p.m. No injuries have been reported.

Police responded to the shots by setting up a traffic stop at Parker Street and Vandiver Drive. The traffic stop led to the arrest of two men.

Chaves O'Brien Warren, 24, and Jonathan Chavez Hubbard, 18, were arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon. Hubbard has an additional charge of possession of a controlled substance.

Both Warren and Hubbard were released on bonds of $4,500.

From 2009 to 2012, there were 26 shots-fired incidents on Quail Drive, according to previous Missourian reporting.
