COLUMBIA —  Each week, the Missourian highlights a government record that is available to the public. For a complete list of Show Me the Records, go to

The records: District report cards from the state Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Why you’d want them: The report card contains a variety of data pertaining to Columbia Public Schools, including enrollment numbers, graduation and dropout rates, student-teacher ratios, average salaries and other measures. It also compares district and statewide data.

Where you get the records: Go to and click on the "district info" link at the top of the page. Use the search bar to locate "Columbia 93 (010093)." Go to the box labeled "Columbia 93 – Summary Reports" and click on the "District" link after the bullet reading "School District Report Card."

How much it will cost: The information is free.
