STORIFY: Columbia residents share snowstorm experiences on social media

By Megan Betcher
February 21, 2013 | 6:59 p.m. CST
Twitter user @saraship measured up to 11 inches of snow with her son at their southeast Columbia home about 1 p.m. Thursday.

With snow falling steadily throughout the day, Columbia residents took to Facebook and Twitter to share their experiences. They reported on snow depth, tweeted pictures of traffic around Boone County, shared tales of good Samaritans helping push cars from the snow, and gave updates all day about their experiences in the snowstorm.

The Missourian has kept a rolling feed of what people are tweeting about today. We've also compiled a shorter highlight reel of what was being shared throughout the day.

Have an observation, yourself? We'd love to hear it. Just tweet @CoMissourian with the hashtag #CoMoSnow.
