National Weather Service lists snow totals from across the state

Thursday's snowfall hit communities all over Missouri.

The National Weather Service compiled the following storm totals from observations by service employees, trained spotters, emergency management and media. 

Hannibal — 13.5 inches

Belton — 11.5 inches

Sturgeon area — 11 inches

Tipton — 10.5 inches

Columbia — 10.2 inches

Ashland area — 10.2 inches

Odessa — 10 inches

Kansas City — 10 inches

Clarksville — 10 inches

Fulton — 9.5 inches

Bowling Green — 9.5 inches

Williamsburg — 9 inches

Independence — 9 inches

Excelsior Springs — 9 inches

Moberly — 8.5 inches

Montgomery City — 8.5 inches

Chillicothe — 7 inches

Jefferson City — 7 inches

St. Joseph — 6.3 inches

O'Fallon — 6 inches

St. Louis — 5.7 inches

St. Peters — 5.6 inches

Chesterfield — 4.5 inches

Linn — 4 inches

Union — 3.7 inches

Lonedell — 2.5 inches
