Memphis shuts out winless Missouri baseball team

COLUMBIA — The Memphis baseball team held Missouri to two hits in a 6-0 loss Friday at Memphis.

Right fielder Dane Opel (triple) and second baseman Kendall Keeton (single) were the only two Missouri players to get a hit. The Tigers were held by Memphis starting pitcher Sam Moll, who pitched seven innings, gave up one hit and struck out five. Conner Porter pitched the final two innings for Memphis.

Missouri starter Rob Zastryzny gave up 10 hits and five runs. He was pulled with one out left in the sixth inning. 

Missouri (0-4) takes the field Saturday against Memphis (2-3) for the second of a three-game series.
