The Missouri women's golf team closed out play at the Sir Pizza Terrapin Challenge Tuesday, finishing in a tie for ninth at the tournament which is played on the Senator Course at Don Shula's Golf Club in Miami Lakes, Fla.

The Tigers tied former Big 12 rival Kansas after tallying a three-day total of 918 (304-307-307). Freshman Katherine Hepler led the way with a tie for 12th, shooting a final round 78 to finish with a nine-over-par total of 225 (73-74-78).

Playing as an individual, sophomore Laura Kraft (74-78-73) used a final round 73 that included four birdies to also finish in a tie for 12th.

The team will return to action March 15, after a three-week hiatus, in Tucson, Ariz., for the two-day MountainView Collegiate played at MountainView Golf Course.
