COLUMBIA — No Kill Columbia's Spay and Neuter Project will hold a fundraiser for a new, high-volume spay and neuter clinic Thursday at Our Lady of Lourdes church in Columbia.

The Spay-Ghetti Dinner will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday. A raffle will be held at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door and $5 for children under 10 years old. They can be purchased at Lizzi & Rocco's, Award Pet Supply, Treats Unleashed or from the No Kill Columbia Spay and Neuter Project's website.

Money from the dinner will be used to help renovate a building for the clinic, and a grant from PetSmart Charities will provide funding for medical equipment. Once completed, the clinic would be self-sustaining and perform almost 8,000 surgeries per year.

Supervising editor is Zach Murdock.
