People were out and about Wednesday after a major winter storm swept across the Midwest bringing more than 9 inches of snow Monday and Tuesday to Columbia.
COLUMBIA — People were out and about Wednesday after a heavy, wet snow fell on Columbia on Monday night and Tuesday morning.
Total snow depth climbed to 14 inches as residents dealt with problems and delays caused by the storm. Columbia Public Schools remain closed Wednesday, but will be open on Thursday.
MU, Columbia College and Stephens College reopened their campuses Wednesday.
