FROM READERS: Missouri Lions District 26-M3 holds convention in Columbia

Sandy McCann of Columbia was recently elected as district governor for the Missouri Lions District 26-M3. Missouri Lions Clubs strive to empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding.

The annual district convention of Missouri Lions District 26-M3 was held in Columbia on March 1-2 at the Hilton Garden Inn.

At the convention, Sandy McCann of Columbia was elected as district governor for the Missouri Lions District 26-M3. The district consists of 19 counties in northeast Missouri. Members Mary Brunkhorst and Freda McKee were presented with awards for their outstanding service to Lions at the convention.
