COLUMBIA — The Columbia College softball team's home opener scheduled for Wednesday has been postponed.

The Cougars (5-4) were set to host Williams Baptist College in a double-header to begin American Midwest Conference play, but weather and field conditions forced the schools to postpone the games.

Columbia College softball coach Wendy Spratt said that a make-up date has not been scheduled.

The Cougars are set to host Hannibal-LaGrange in a doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m. March 19 at Cougar Softball Field.
