LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Ian Thomas' work with PedNet demonstrates commitment to Columbia

Friday, March 15, 2013 | 10:12 a.m. CDT; updated 1:17 p.m. CDT, Friday, March 15, 2013

We live on South Garth and witness increasing number of Grant students walking to school and the library. This would not have happened without the efforts of Ian Thomas and the PedNet Coalition.

Ian has put energy, ideas and lots of hard work into getting funding for PedNet. In addition to the walking school bus, PedNet has made tremendous strides in developing programs and policies to improve the access for walking, biking and public transportation for Columbia. Ian has proved himself as caring, hard working and an individual who will definitely serve the community.

Vote Ian Thomas for 4th ward councilman.

Hsiao-Mei and Ray Wiedmeyer are Columbia residents.
