COLUMBIA — Depending on who you ask, Friday was a day to celebrate a victorious win or mourn a team's loss. The No. 1 ranked Columbia College men's basketball team beat Hope College and advanced to the quarterfinals of the NAIA tournament at 6 p.m. Saturday in Kansas City.
The Missouri men's basketball team lost to Ole Miss 64-62 in the SEC tournament quarterfinals.
The Hickman boys basketball team lost 67-59 to Rockhurst in the Class 5 state semifinal game. But Hickman will play again Saturday in the third-place game.
The Rock Bridge girls basketball team won last night and will play for the Class 5 state title Saturday night at 8:30 p.m. in Mizzou Arena.
Despite winning or losing, the fans of all the teams took to Twitter to cheer their team on, or at least, to jab at their opposition.
