Missouri basketball's Pressey named to AP All-SEC Second Team

COLUMBIA— Missouri men's basketball point guard Phil Pressey was named to the 2013 Associated Press All-Southeastern Conference Second Team.

Pressey leads the SEC with 233 assists on the season and averages 11.6 points per game.

Missouri forwards Laurence Bowers and Alex Oriakhi received honorable mentions. Bowers averages 14.4 points per game and 6.2 rebounds per game. Oriakhi leads Missouri in rebounds with 8.6 per game.

Missouri, a No. 9 seed in the NCAA tournament, will play No. 8 Colorado State at 8:20 p.m. Thursday's first round game in Lexington, Ky.
