The Terzopoulos brothers opened G&D Pizzaria after immigrating to the United States in 1965. The brothers’ uncle had already come to Columbia to work in the restaurant industry, which provided inspiration for the name. The “G” in the name comes from that uncle, George. The “D” comes from Dino, who had the restaurant equipment to help George start his restaurants.
G&D’s menu is diverse, with an emphasis on pizza and steaks. The pizza menu includes 5-inch, 10-inch, 12-inch and 14-inch pizzas. There are 19 different toppings available. There are six specialty pizzas.
Daily lunch specials include a hamburger and fries for $3.49 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and pizza by the slice for $2.39 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
