LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Ian Thomas has experience and qualities for council seat

In Ian Thomas we have a person of intelligence, education and wide experience in public service. He came to Columbia and immediately immersed himself in community projects and activities, eventually becoming the head of PedNet. He is an environmentalist and a supporter of alternative ways of getting around that are earth-friendly and do not pollute or contribute to climate change. Ian is very much concerned with building consensus and involving the community in government policy and decisions. I hope you will join me and Ian's many friends in voting for him for the Fourth Ward Council seat.
