LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Ian Thomas works to make community better

Wednesday, March 27, 2013 | 6:00 a.m. CDT

COLUMBIA — Having known Ian Thomas since he and his family moved back to Columbia about 15 years ago, I have been impressed and grateful for his ability in working with others to make our community a better place to live.

In the past several decades, Columbia has seen an accelerated growth in population. How we make decisions that deal with our growing community is most important today. You won't find a harder-working candidate in the Fourth Ward who will listen to his constituents, do the research and base his decision on facts and common sense. We are fortunate to have such an excellent candidate who will represent all of us on the Columbia City Council. Please vote for Ian Thomas, Fourth Ward Councilperson on Tuesday, April 2! You can learn more about Ian and the issues important to our community at www.ianfor4th.com.

Beth Cunningham is a Columbia resident.
