Missouri men's golfers fourth at South Carolina tournament

The Missouri men's golf team  finished fourth at the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate on Tuesday afternoon in Awendaw, S.C.

Jace Long led a group of four Tigers golfers to place in the top 35, finishing at 6-over par to tie for 17th among individual players. It was Long's seventh-straight top-20 finish of the year.  

Junior Emilio Cuartero finished 22nd at 8-over, and Ryan Zech and Jacob Fair both finished in a tie for 33rd at 11-over par.

Duke claimed the tournament crown by three shots over North Carolina State. Wake Forest finished third, just ahead of Missouri, which was the top finishing Southeastern Conference program.
