Janice Nichols was a registered nurse

Janice Nichols was born Nov. 25, 1926, to Christopher and Goldie (Sasse) Noll of Armstrong,

Janice Graduated from Armstrong High School in 1944. She then attended Nursing School at St. Lukes Hospital, Kansas City, from 1945-1948 and received a Registered Nursing degree.

Janice was married to Conard Price Nichols on August 17, 1947. Conard preceded her in death.

She is survived by three children, Thomas Odon Nichols (wife Mary), Terry Lee Nichols (wife Lori), and Nancy Ann (Nichols) Rapp (Husband Jon), two sisters, Doris Markland (husband Tom) and Marjorie Vroman (husband Miller, Deceased), eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Janice was preceded in death by a son, Conard Price Nichols Jr., one brother, Kenneth Noll (wife Ruth), and one sister, Betty Pruett (Husband Wayne, he survives).

She was the school nurse in Harrisburg from 1966 to 1981.

Janice was a member of Riggs Methodist Church.

Visitation for Janice will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 29, 2013, at Riggs Methodist Church.
