LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Skala provides voice for responsible growth

Wednesday, March 27, 2013 | 5:30 p.m. CDT

COLUMBIA — Karl Skala’s past service as former city councilman and also on Planning and Zoning has provided the community with a strong voice for responsible growth. He respects the rights of individual property owners and would resist the recent trends for initiatives such as EEZ and the use of eminent domain.

Mr. Skala has an awareness and appreciation of cultural issues for all citizens in our community as demonstrated by his stated support for the intended development of the John William "Blind" Boone home as a landmark of Columbia’s rich and diverse heritage.

Evan Prost is a Columbia resident.
