LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Vote for Skala is vote for solutions

Friday, March 29, 2013 | 12:00 p.m. CDT

I’ve worked with Karl Skala on the Energy and Environment Commission for 10 years, and during that time, I have seen Karl work diligently with insight and expertise to help strategize workable solutions to difficult community problems.

As Columbia struggles to manage her rapid growth, it’s important to have leaders with Columbia’s best interest in mind, leaders not beholden to special interests. Karl Skala is that leader. Karl brings years of practical experience, neighborhood values and common sense solutions to the council.  If you want a representative on City Council that listens to you before special interests, vote for Karl Skala April 2.

Alyce Turner is a Columbia resident.
