Suspect still at large in Fastlane 66 robbery

Thursday, March 28, 2013 | 3:16 p.m. CDT

COLUMBIA – An unarmed assailant robbed the Fastlane 66 convenience store at 1013 West Blvd. N. early Thursday morning, according to a news release from police.

Columbia police said a man entered the store at 2:28 a.m. and demanded money from the cashier. The man did not display or make reference to a weapon.

After an undisclosed amount of cash was taken, the man then fled southeast on foot and is still at large.
