Columbia skateboarders enjoy warmer early spring day

Skateboarders enjoy warm weather Thursday at Cosmo Park in Columbia.

COLUMBIA — Skateboarders at Cosmo Park enjoyed temperatures in the 50s Thursday afternoon. The warmer weather has arrived at the end of a colder-than-normal March in Boone County.

The high Thursday in Columbia was 60 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. High temperatures in the upper 50s and lower 60s are expected Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with thunderstorms possible Saturday afternoon.

Colder weather is expected to return Sunday night, with a chance of rain and snow Monday.
