Missouri men's basketball's Bell to participate in dunk contest

Monday, April 1, 2013 | 6:01 p.m. CDT

Former Missouri men's basketball guard Keion Bell will show his skills at the State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championship at 6 p.m. Thursday at McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta.

The contest will be broadcast on ESPN.

Bell's competition includes TCU's Garlon Green, La Salle's Ramon Galloway, Minnesota's Rodney Williams, Long Beach State's James Ennis and Detroit's Doug Anderson.

At October's Mizzou Madness, Bell jumped over six people for a dunk.

Bell averaged 10.7 points per game in his senior season.

Former Missouri guard Marcus Denmon competed in the 3-point segment of the contest in 2012.
