Rock Bridge golfers finish first at William Woods Invitational

The Rock Bridge boys golf team finished first at the William Woods Invitational on Friday, finishing the tournament with a final score of 312. Behind Rock Bridge, St. Charles finished second with a score of 325, and Hickman finished third with a score of 334.

Individually, Rock Bridge sophomore Matt Echelmeier finished with the best overall score, a two-under-par 70. Bruins sophomore Jack Knoesel finished with a 75, good enough for second place.

Two other Rock Bridge golfers, sophomores Ben Humphreys and Sam Harrison, also competed in the tournament. Humphreys finished with an 82 while Harrison scored an 85.

The Bruins will compete again on Monday, when they participate in the Smith-Cotton Classic in Sedalia.
