Children hunted for eggs in the dark Thursday night at Stephens Lake Park in the Annual Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt. The event had multiple rounds for different age groups.

COLUMBIA — The Columbia Parks and Recreation department teamed up with MU's Parks, Recreation and Tourism students Thursday evening to host the fourth annual Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt at Stephens Lake Park.

The children, who ranged from 3 to 10 years old, waited excitedly for their age group to be called before scouring the hillside in hopes of locating some eggs hidden in the grass. Among the hundreds of eggs hidden were a few prize-winning golden eggs.
