KANSAS CITY — Kansas City police say a woman has been taken into custody after a man in his 70s was found dead at a home the two are believed to have shared.

Police spokesman Steve Young says officers were sent to a home in the 4300 block of Norton Avenue at 1 p.m. Wednesday. They found a man dead at the scene and took a woman in her 70s into custody.

Young says the woman was transported to a hospital for evaluation. The two are believed to have lived at the residence, and police aren't looking for any other suspects in the man's death.
