MU students donate to Humane Society, play with puppies at Doggy Days event

For every $1 students donated to the Central Missouri Humane Society, they were able to spend 5 minutes cuddling and playing with puppies.

COLUMBIA — MU students had the opportunity Wednesday to spend their breaks between classes a little differently.

The Central Missouri Humane Society brought four puppies to the MU Student Center on Wednesday as part of its Doggy Days event. The event gave students the opportunity to donate to the Humane Society and play with puppies.

For every $1 students donated to the Humane Society between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., they were able to spend 5 minutes cuddling and playing with the puppies.
