Rock Bridge boys golf team struggles at Capital City Invitational

COLUMBIA — The Rock Bridge boys golf team placed sixth in the 20-team Capital City Invitational at the Jefferson City Country Club on Monday evening.

The Bruins finished with a total of 324. Jackson Dubinski, Matt Echelmeier, Sam Harrison and Jack Knoesel all shot 81.

Timberland took first with a combined score of 311.

"There were no standout performances for the Bruins today," coach Doug Daniels said.

Rock Bridge returns to action Wednesday at Country Club of Missouri, where they will face crosstown rival Hickman.
