Tolton Catholic baseball team wins at Paris

COLUMBIA — The Tolton Catholic baseball team defeated Paris 8-4 on Thursday night in Paris.

Freshman pitcher Rian Markes started the game and pitched into the fifth inning for the Trailblazers, giving up two home runs. Sophomore Parker Wilkinson pitched the remaining innings to earn the save.

The Trailblazers led throughout the game. Wilkinson went 3-for-3, contributing a single, a double, three RBIs and a home run.

Tolton's next game will be against the Missouri Military Academy at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Tolton High School.
