COLUMBIA — Architects, engineers, students and designers planned and built "canstructions" in an event held by the Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri on Saturday at the Daniel Boone City Building.

The participants built the "canstructions" from donated items to showcase the teams' designs and benefit the food bank. This year's theme was "Brain Food." The sculptures included elements of learning, education or wisdom.
