The Hickman girls track team finished ninth out of 14 teams at the Vickie Reaves Invitational at Parkway South High School in Manchester on Saturday.

Sophomore Mikayla Logan was the only Kewpie to win an event, winning the long jump with a distance of 17 feet, 2 1/2 inches.

The 4x100 meter relay team of sophomores Najla Guice and Dominique Thurman and freshmen Brooke Bassett and Alyssa Hawkins finished second with a time of 54.8 seconds.

The 4x400 meter relay team of Logan, sophomore Kyra Miller, freshman Marissa Johnsen and senior Hannah Corbin finished fourth in 4 minutes 21 seconds.

The boys team was scheduled to compete in the Lee's Summit Invitational on Thursday, but the meet was canceled due to rain.

Both teams will compete at Jefferson City on Friday to conclude the regular season.
