Tolton girls track team places fourth at Blue and Gold Relays

The Tolton girls track team placed fourth out of 14 teams Monday at the Blue and Gold Relays hosted by Fatima. 

Chase Freidel won the long jump at 15 feet, 5 3/4 inches and finished second in the 400 meters in 1 minute, 2 seconds. Freidel was also part of the 800-meter relay team that finished second in 1:54. Laura Richardson, Madelynn Harvey and Dayton Hammes were also part of the team.

Lacy Stephen won the shot put with a throw of 31-2 and finished second in discus at 85-0.

The Tolton boys 1,600-meter relay team of Johnny Cleek, Jon Steinmetz, Caleb Lucero and Christian Elliott finished third in 3:48. 

Tolton competes next in a Class 2 district meet in Fayette.
