Rock Bridge golfers win district tournament; Hickman finishes sixth

The Rock Bridge boys golf team won the Class 4, District 5 tournament Monday at the Greene Hills Country Club in Willard.

The Bruins finished with a team score of 311, 19 shots ahead of second-place Rolla. 

The Bruins' Matt Echelmeier was first and Jack Knoesel second in the individual results. Echelmeier shot 2-over par, and Knoesel shot 4-over. 

Rock Bridge's Jackson Dubinski finished 10th, Samuel Thomas Harrison finished 16th, and Austin Culbertson finished tied for 18th.

Hickman shot a 348 to placed sixth at the 10-team event. Juwan Mahaney led the Kewpies and finished tied for 12th place.
