Police looking for suspect involved in Break Time armed robbery

COLUMBIA — The Columbia Police Department is looking for a suspect connected to an armed robbery that took place at about 3 a.m. Tuesday. 

A man entered the Break Time convenience store at 900 Conley Road armed with a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect ran away, heading west with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured, according to a police department news release.

The suspect is described as a 6-foot-2-inch slender male. He was last seen wearing all black clothing, a stocking cap and a black mask, according to the release. 

The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information to contact the Columbia Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 875-8477.
