COLUMBIA — A two-car accident at the intersection of North Proctor Road and Highway 124 West in Boone County caused both cars to roll into a ditch Thursday afternoon.

One driver from each vehicle was taken to University Hospital with minor to moderate injuries, said Boone County Fire Protection District Battalion Chief Gale Blomenkamp.

The accident occurred shortly before 1 p.m.

The accident appeared to be a head-on collision, Blomenkamp said, but it was hard to tell because both vehicles ended up in the ditch. One of them, an F-150 truck, rolled on top of the other, a four-door car.
