After weeks of unpredictable weather, Tuesday was an average day in May for Columbia. MU students read on a hammock in Peace Park, studied on Francis Quadrangle and ran on the MKT Nature and Fitness Trail.

COLUMBIA — MU students enjoyed warm weather Tuesday at Peace Park, on the MKT Nature and Fitness Trail and on Francis Quadrangle.

The high temperature Tuesday was 79 at Columbia Regional Airport.

Rain is moving into the forecast, with a chance of thunderstorms Wednesday and thunderstorms likely Thursday, according to the National Weather Service. Highs are expected to remain in the 70s for the next two days, then fall into the upper 60s Friday and Saturday.
