No injuries in early morning gas station armed robbery

COLUMBIA — Two men robbed a gas station at gunpoint early Monday morning, according to a news release from the Columbia Police Department. No one was injured. 

Officers were dispatched to Eagle Stop, 1704 N. Providence Road, just before 3 a.m. after being informed of an armed robbery. 

The suspects ran north with an undisclosed amount of money, according to the release.

Detectives are looking at surveillance video, but they don't have a photo to release yet, said Latisha Stroer, public information officer for the department.
